MedCompanion AI ("we", "us", "the Service") is operated by Millennials Creatives LLC. MedCompanion AI is a health-information companion that helps people understand health topics in plain language. This policy explains what information we handle and how.

MedCompanion AI is not a medical provider. It provides general health information for educational purposes only. It is not a medical device, not a diagnosis, and not a substitute for professional medical advice. It does not handle emergencies — call your local emergency number (911 in the US) if you may be experiencing one.

1. Information we handle

What you type or speak: the symptoms, questions, medications, or health topics you describe so the Service can generate a briefing for you.
Images you choose to upload: for example a lab result or photo, used only to generate your response.
Account information (optional): if you create an account, your email address and a securely hashed password, handled by our authentication provider.
Technical data: basic, standard server logs needed to operate and secure the Service.

2. How we use it

To generate the health briefing or medication-interaction information you request.
To operate, secure, and improve the Service.
To respond to questions you send us.

3. AI processing

To produce your briefing, the text you submit is processed by trusted AI and search providers (including Anthropic's Claude API) and may be checked against reputable public medical sources (such as NIH, Mayo Clinic, and FDA). We send only what is needed to answer your question.

4. What we do not do

We do not sell your personal or health information.
We do not use your health inputs for advertising.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

5. Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Service (such as hosting, AI processing, and authentication), and where required by law. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

6. Your choices & rights

You can use the Service without creating an account. If you have an account or have sent us information, you may request access to or deletion of that information by emailing us at the address below.

7. Data retention & security

We retain information only as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. We take reasonable measures to protect information we receive, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
